Flowers for the wake, would this be tacky?

Send it to the house when a member of my family dies ppl always send meat trays and veggie trays and stuff and mainly the older ppl and business always send the flowers. hope ya mom doesn't get any flowers when she dies. you send stuff to ppl out of respect its not about money and what other ppl are gonna think. and when you die, i believe you can still see everyone on earth i like to think they are watching and waiting on me. so yes i believe they do see the flowers and everytime someone visits them.
