Ex Husband is not paying alimony as stated he should in divorce agreement?
She can file to put liens on his property - not the most immediate solution, because until the house/car/boat is sold she won't see the money. The courts have been overwhelmed with payment reduction cases in the last year due to the economy and this is usually the compromise. If the money isn't in his paycheck to garnish, then liens are the only other resort. When he puts the stuff on the market she gets the profits. I am kind of surprised that he hasn't returned to court to get the amount reduced himself - unless he believes that his ex won't bother to file. But because he hasn't the original order stilol stands. Don't delay on this - he might wise up and file for a reduction.
