Cold Symptoms plus weird pain in both ears? Weird Symptom?

Last week, I started getting these kind of sharp pains in both of my ears. Then it went away. Today, I just got a little bit of pain in my right ear. I now also have new symptoms like runny nose (was congested last night), lots of sneezing, and a feeling like body aches, but less prevalent. I think I have a cold, but what could the ear pain (in both ears) be? I looked up my symptoms on the Web MD Symptom Checker and it said if you have pain in ears, that you should go immediately get medical care. Now, I'm freaking out.
